Matt & Audra Karam created The Little Leaders Program with the simple goal of helping parents and children.
We have seen first-hand the struggles that some parents go through. Do you know of a child being bullied? What about getting in trouble because they followed the crowd? Or a child that needs more self-confidence to stand up for what they believe? And lastly, children that needed to learn respect and manners.
Parents were also asking us, how do I make sure my child will be successful, achieve above average results and be a leader?
The Karam’s have taught 1,000’s of children since 1975 how to be leaders, handle bullies, and stand up for what they believe in.
They are very excited to have this evidenced-based program for proven Character Development. This virtual program was developed during the pandemic to help assist more parents and children from the comfort of their own home.
The Little Leaders program has already been welcomed into many school districts as an afterschool program because of its immediate and visible results. One of the many reasons for taking Karam’s Little Leaders virtual.
Beyond being the parents of four children and creating Karam’s Little Leaders program, they also Co-Founded, Karam’s Kidz Center. A 501c3 (Non-Profit) formed to empower children with difficult paths to succeed at home, school and life.
Audra has a bachelor’s degree in Child Development & Family Ecology, with a minor in Psychology, and a specialization in Child Life. While developing the Life Skills curriculum at their martial arts school, Audra also worked with many school districts teaching elementary students how to stand up for themselves against the dangers of alcohol, tobacco and drugs.
Audra has also worked with many Fortune 500 companies and Corporate Leaders sharing the knowledge and facilitating sessions from the Leadership Icon of the world, Dale Carnegie (How to Win Friends and Influence People). Audra is the recipient of many awards for her success with Dale Carnegie in promoting this International Leadership Program.
Matt Karam, BA
Matt is the creator, visionary and producer of Black Belt Bruce. He has a driving passion to help children become the very best version of themselves. The “Karam’s Little Leaders” program is one of his proudest accomplishments.
He has been studying the discipline of Martial Arts since the age of 5. It all started when his father began teaching in their family garage and Matt eventually went onto become a 3rd Degree Black Belt. He opened his very own school at the age of 18, and opened several more shortly after. The primary goal was always to carry on the family mission that his father started in 1975.
He has operated many businesses and has been a lifetime entrepreneur. If you ever meet him, you will learn very quickly that no matter what he is involved in, he works tirelessly to improve upon its current level.
He graduated with a Bachelors in Finance with a minor in Real Estate.
